AIP

I have been a long-term member of the AIP (Australian Institute of Physics). These days undergraduates can join up for free!

2017-2018: I was a Programme Committee member of the AIP Topical Group ATMOP, which represents Atomic and Molecular Physics in Australia.

2015-2016: I was Treasurer of the APPC-AIP 2016 Congress, with nearly 900 attendees. This was the first ever joint meeting of the Asia-Pacific Physics Conference and the Australian Institute of Physics Congress, which presented many logistical challenges. I oversaw a budget of circa $900K, with the congress coming in under budget.

2015-2016: I was the Chair of the AIP Topical Group ATMOP. During this time I broadened the mission of ATMOP to include the Ultracold Gas Community, whilst establishing a member and friends ATMOP mailing list. I also led the ATMOP Programme Committee for the 2016 Joint APPC-AIP Congress.
